There was also a similar article in last month's Atlantic, on building a gun type fission device from stolen HEU. Summary: easy to do, if you can get the materials. Hard to get the materials, but the countermeasures the US has in place are not really part of the obstacle.


Was the Atlantic article the one that used a "farmhouse" as it's hypothetical setting for building the weapon or am I thinking of another?
