Radioactive material going into Iraq?

Take it with however big a grain of salt you want, but al-Jazeera is reporting that Kuwaiti customs officials stopped four US trucks suspected of carrying radioactive material. While three of the four trucks turned out to be clean, the fourth was indeed transporting "a highly radioactive substance."

Obviously, it's too early to conclude anything from the scant (and perhaps inaccurate) information available. Nuclear material might include anything from depleted uranium rounds to radioactive isotopes used in cancer treatments. However, this story may be worth watching for further developments.
